iTunes has named Eric their 2011 Country Breakthrough Artist of the Year and has featured CHIEF in their Best of 2011 section. NPR Music has also chosen the new album as one of their Top 50 Albums of the Year.

Eric's chart-topping album, CHIEF, has earned him his first ever GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album at the 54th annual GRAMMY Awards.

Exciting news guys! CHIEF took the #1 spot on the Billboard Country and Top 200 Charts by selling 144,990 albums since its release. Compared to Carolina, CHIEF sold more than four times as many albums in its first week, it's the second country album to debut at number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 this year and is the second highest selling debut country album release. CHIEF also had the highest number of digital sales for a country album in 2011.
