If you're asking about a public proposal, I don't think the crowd at one of Eric's shows would be too wild about that. From someone who has done it themselves, try to find a place a little more personal and private. It'll be worth it in the long run :)
If you only joined to purchase presale tickets, then perhaps for this show it would not have been worth it. I would never reccomend joining a fan club just for tickets or meet & greets as these are typically not guaranteed for most clubs. I hope you still have a blast at the show though!! :)
So by joining church choir to get early tickets to be close was not right? They have rows and #s on the tickets. If that's the case it's gonna be a mess there.
This is an all general admission show. Fire code still restricts the number of folks allowed to occupy the venue so, as a whole, the venue should not be crammed. It may feel so towards the front though for obvious reasons.

i would say the pit are in greensboro, NC could have held upwards of 200 people comfortably. The vip folks showed up in the pit between the opener and Brantley Gilbert.
You shouldn't have a problem getting a reasonable place to stand. I was on the second row (pit was in front of us) and could see everything perfectly.
It is a helluva show. Enjoy!
