i totally agree with sconnieman, i got tickets yesterday to bloomington during presale but i was having a problem and was worried i wasnt going to get tickets. im sure it was a ticketmaster problem but i definately would have been upset if i hadnt got tickets. it was just an option that i chose wrong on ticketmaster but they sure dont explain anything on there. i wish more artists would put pressure on ticketmaster like pearl jam did, now they dont sell any tickets through ticketmaster. i hate that that is pretty much the only place to get tickets.
No offense Jessi, but the only reason I became a member of the Church Choir was to buy pre-sale tickets. I like Eric's music and I am happy to support him, but I also believe that buying his music and tickets to his shows is enough support and I shouldn't have to jump through another hoop to get good tickets. Unfortunatly pre-sales and forcing fans to pay for fan club memberships to get pre-sale tickets is an industry trend right now, so I have to deal with it. At least the online only Church Choir membership is reasonably priced I guess. Luckily I did get tickets to the Minneapolis show through the pre-sale yesterday. I would have been royally pissed if I didn't and I believe everyone that didn't has every right to be pissed about paying for a membership, and then not getting tickets.
Obviously no one says being a member guarantees that you will get tickets, but I have bought tickets in pre-sales for other very popular bands that sell out concerts extremly quickly and have never as much of a problem as I did yesterday. Probably more of a ticketmaster problem, but it reflects poorly on Eric unfortunately.
I'm right there with ya, Jesse! There are so many perks to being in the Church Choir that you can't pay for like supporting EC & the guys and meeting so many amazing folk from all over the country (and even world in my case)!
you said it jessegeorge! love introducing his music to family and friends who are now fans themselves! i just tell em TOLD YA SO!
Yep. While ur at it F*ck ticket master!
You could have bought the $15 online only membership. At least you get a tshirt or something for your $40.
