There have been alot of negative comments/posts regarding the presale and ticket purchasing experience. I felt it was necessary to offer a positive post on the subject. My tickets were CANCELED by ticketmaster. My wife and I both have paying fan club memberships, so we are both able to purchase up to 4 tickets each during presale. I bought 4, and she bought 2. Since we used to same billing info (address and card) we were flagged as a scalper and our tickets canceled. I called and argued my case with ticketmaster for nearly an hour with 2 different people. No luck. I contacted the fan club and received a response from June. She was very dedicated and helpful. She kept in contact over a 3 or 4 day period until it was resolved. We now have our tickets back. I have been a paying member for several years, have been to 10+ shows, traveled to several state, drove up to 8 hours for a concert, and even drove 5 hours to Charlotte for the album release party just to see Eric perform for 20 minutes. My point is that after all these shows, I have never had a bad experience with the fan club or getting tickets. People just need to be patient and not so emotional. If you go on ticketmaster at 10am and it says that there are no tickets avaliable, TRY AGAIN lol. You have to understand how these websites work. If they get overloaded they have issues. Simple as that. So when the mad rush begins at 10, just keep trying. And if you can get on at 10am due to your job, that isn't the fan clubs fault! All ticket sales for all concerts for all artists are at 10am. And lastly, don;t blame eric or talk shit about him if you feel like the fan club membership was a waste of money because you didnt get tickets you wanted. The truth is he really has nothing to do with the fan club as far as how it operates.
I received an email from ticketmaster that said my tickets had been canceled due to purchasing more than the allowed limit. My wife and I are both paying fan club members. I bought 4 tickets during presale. She bought 2. We used our separate codes for ticketmaster. How in the world can they cancel them?
