Curious, anyone know why EC wears aviators all the time? Haven't seen him without them on at a show yet, but thats besides the point. Just curious if anyone knows why? Just figured it was an EC thing and it just stuck.

I wear my aviators all the time! I haven't really paid attention to whether or not they help with my contacts drying out. I suppose they do. I mostly wear them, because I feel like a badass in them! LOL

Here's the deal, EC didn't used to always wear his shades until the lights started baking his contacts. Once he realized the relief of wearing sunglasses to help combat the heat and air movement from frying out his contacts and bakin 'em to his eyes he started wearing them a lot more.
As the ECB graduated to larger venues, the sunglasses had already become signature and are now part of the Eric Church image and branding.
I can honestly witness myself that the glasses help big time! I've been wearing aviators for 3-4 years and had major issues with both dry eyes and allergies since I was about a junior in high school. In the last few years, the glasses have helped a lot to keep the wind from drying out my eyes and the allergens from irritating them.
