Well I was slacking off this week and just saw that pre-sale tickets for this show went on sale yesterday. For those who've had problems buying tickets, I'm sorry to hear that but I was able to get the ticket I wanted without a problem. Of course it might have een because I was only buying a single ticket but it worked for me.
I'm looking forward to this show, I've seen every show he's done in Seattle and this will be my first show down south. I'm going to drive 5hours from Beaumont Texas for this show, but it'll be worth it. Hopefully I can meet up with some Church choir members for the show, I plan to stay the night in a hotel in town, so I'll need to hear from any locals where to go hang out after the show.

I kind of like the will call only pick up idea, it means I won't lose the ticket which I have done once or twice. Now if I only can get a meet and greet ;)
I live in dallas and would have loved to go to that show, saame weekend as the texas race..
I didn't have any problem getting my tickets either ... even got a few decent ones at the general public sale today.
I am more of a pre-concert party kind of girl. I've never gone out in Shreveport/Bossier (other than to casinos and concerts) so not sure about the nightlife. I have some friends coming in for this show so if you would like to meet up with us pre-show, you are certainly welcome!! We can all share a cab to the venue.
Have you decided which way you're traveling? up the border to Tyler/Longview or crossing into La at Lake Charles? If you come through Lake Charles/Alexandria, I'll meet you for the road trip up I-49.

I think the availability of tickets for fan club members has improved as the initiative to cut out scalpers so fans can buy tickets is trying a couple methods out this week.
For the Bossier City presale,
Fan Club tickets and all Presale tickets are Will Call Pick up Day of Event Only at Box Office and will NOT be sent in advance. NO Alternate Pick-up allowed.
And for the Toledo presale,
No Ticketfast orders will be processed prior to Monday, February 20, 2012.
