Choir Practice for the Bowery Ballroom show to be held at Sweet and Vicious, 5 Spring St. The location is one block north of the Bowery Ballroom and 1/2 Block west. Supposedly they have good margaritas and $5 Buds, which in NYC is a bargain these days...
Do you know if this place is 21 and up? My group is all under...

Yep, asking about the gathering place..
I believe the place I had in mind is a bar, not a restaurant, so it would probably be 21 and over....there are some restaurants in the area I could look into....I don't really hang out in the area so I don't know how strict they are about ages...as for the time, doors open at 7pm so I would say anytime after 4 or 5...that's strictly up to you....
Yeah, preshow get together. I'm still 20 too and bringing two 19 years olds with me.

but the Loreley Restaurant looks fine to me - it's on the same "city block" as the venue so we won't even have to cross the street :P
I didn't understand a damn thing on the menu except hamburger and beer but that is all I needed to know.

Great to meet you last night
What a show tonight! EC was just so good. We all know all of his shows are amazing but this one was just one of the neatest I've been to. He looked like he was having so much fun, which he should have being he has the #1 record!! There was a little mishap with the church choir tickets (of course). I told them my name and they said they didn't have my tickets and the guy asked if it was through ticketmaster and I said no Eric Church's fan club and he said well we don't have them, so he made us stand to the side. Then a few minutes later he called us over just took my ID wrote my name down and how many tickets and let us through, it was so odd. Of course something always has to be messed up with the choir! But overall, I loved it! I absolutely loved meeting some of the members and just being able to hang out and have a good time. It was also great to see EC's co-writers. The only thing I was disappointed about was it was done within an hour or so. After they sang all the songs off of Chief it was done, I was definitely expecting him to come out on stage alone and sing some songs, I think everyone was thinking the same! All in all, great show and a great time! I hope to see some of the members I met again soon even though we are from all over the place! :)

Got a wild hare last week and bought tickets, paid a bit of a premium but it was killing me to miss it. Got plane ticket, got hotel, flying out Tuesday 6am from Austin.
