Creepin' Video

Nope, the Creepin' BTS video is still up!! :) ....and the full-length music video will be out before we know it!

Great video! Very different from his previous, and may I say, a bit edgy.

Was liking the video until.... "THE EDIT". There was a song titled Cocaine for crying out loud. Your caffeine kiss and nicotine look. Really?! The worst part is that it's a terrible edit. My guess, and I hope I'm right, is that the reason it's a horrible edit is because the execs said it has to be done, asked Eric to re-cut the song with the word changes and Eric said "Screw you. I'll give you the word nicotine, do what you need to do with it." My local radio plays the same edit. Funny thing is that WSIX in Nashville plays the original as does The Highway on XM. Yet another reason I don't listen to local radio anymore. Sorry, but it's just dumb.

I didn't notice "the edit", I'll have to go back and listen/watch again. I was watching and not listening.
Wow, really? the word cocaine?

I love, love, love the video. What a great concept and awesome tunnel scenes! The radio station here in L.A. (105.1) does play the original song, but hey, this is L.A.! Seems petty to change from cocaine to nicotine.

Soon as I heard it, I thought "did I hear that right"?

My understanding is (and I don't agree with it - but this is what I was told) that many stations won't play songs w/the word cocaine - as it may endorse (*DOH*) an illegal substance.

They did the same thing w/Kid Rocks "Picture" except there wasn't another word subsituted - more of silence.

So Eric's was edited to Caffine kiss and nicotine love, better then silence i guess - but - UGH. I guess he did what had to be done to get it on the radio. Sometimes you just have to work with the powers that be instead of fighting them.

Yeah, Picture is the other one I've heard that on. It's another one of those Zero Tolerance B.S. policies that the Suits live by. In "Creepin" he's not even talking about using cocaine. It's "Cocaine kiss and caffeine look" He's talking about the addiction, getting hooked on, etc.... He could have said Nicotine kiss and caffeine look but there's a reason why. Nicotine is 3 syllables!

Like I said, Eric didn't have anything to do with it. Just ridiculous every time I hear that stuff. Funny thing is when smoking is completely banned you won't be able to say nicotine.

Creepin' video was shown on CMT Top 20 today as a bonus video. I forgot to listen to see if they edited cocaine out. Looks really good on a big screen!

I stand corrected - the L.A. radio version is edited as well!

I think it is so stupid that CMT editited 'cocaine' out of the video - they posted the video on their website and cocaine is changed to nicotine. So ridiculous in my opinion.

I live in Fort Wayne Indiana one of our stations up here edits it, but one does not. I have decided just to listen to the one that doesn't edit it, because that edit is just stupid.
