The theater was perfect - less than 2000 seats but the crowd was so loud and on their feet singing - it was as loud and rocking as the coliseums. BEST NIGHT EVER!!! I cannot believe we were there. Awesome, thanks!
Yes - during the acoustic set he played a new song - we were so lucky to be so close while he was singing it!! We were in front of the speakers so it was hard to understand what he was saying when he introduced it but it was Great!!
anyone know if he did the black betty break down in how bout you on either night? he said he was going to try to do it but they had to practice it again.
When did EC say they were going to do the Black Betty interlude? Haven't heard that in years!
he was asked during a radio interview he said they would try but he and the band would have to practice that again. was hoping he would have played it love hearing that way done and would love to have it forever.
I found this on youtube tonight - glad someone caught it on video!! Our view in the pit was better but this person definitely had better audio quality!!

I would of LOVED to have been there! I hope he does this again in a few years!

I was in the balcony 1st night and at stage 2nd night with my signs and hat on which he saw and knowledge both. I got 2 picks and a set list. Wished they could have played all night!!! See you in Duluth, GA 11-29-12
Thats terrific! :)
It was a great show! ... Our tickets were about 13 rows back. Great view. The theater seats somewhere over 1700... BEAUTIFUL... Gold leaf... Opulent gorgeous setting. This was as close to the "early" shows as I've seen in a couple years. It was High energy. Lots of old some and a couple seldom heard songs like Lightning. I see me set list already made it over here... Cool! There was no "Black Betty" interlude.... the only interlude of the night was during Springsteen, where he played a little "Born to Run" ... Notably missing were
"Homeboy", "Two Pink Lines" and Carolina, but I understand he played "Homeboy" on night two. I got some good video of the New Song and will eventually post it. Others have posted it on youtube. It was something he wrote a couple days before the show. It may be titled "All I'm sayin" .. with this being recorded for a live CD, I don't feel comfortable sharing it publicly yet.
I've been to 36 Eric shows appearances of various types.. this in the top 5. #1 Rutledge "Deconstructed 2009" #2...Stir Cove 2011 (night 2)...#3 Hell on the Heart Video Shoot...
GREAT SHOW!! :)
