Correct. If you would have been in the General Admission seats (better known as the pit) it wouldn't have a seat number. It would just say GA. But if you look on the seating chart, sections 1, 2, & 3 are the front sections of seats behind the pit.
If you have questions, call the venue...for EC show in CT the GA tickets were numbered so they could keep a tally as to how many they sold, I was nervous, but when I reviewed my tix with the venue, they assured me it was GA and thats the way that specific venue did it.
