The Vegas show date was off last night too it scared me to death because I thought i was a day off! all is good.
The L.A. radio station (105.1) has been doing the usual contest of be caller 25 when you hear Creepin' and win two tickets to the show (and they didn't mention that you win a M&G too), but the cool thing is that all ticket winners are entered into the GRAND PRIZE which is VIP tickets, M&G, and you get to be Eric's "guitar tech" for a song. That is, you get to go on stage during a song (chosen by the record company) and hand Eric his guitar(s)! Didn't know if this was something they were doing at all the shows??

They aren't doing that at all shows. For each stop, the radio station promoting the show submits how they will promote the show and what they would like in exchange for it...because of this, each stop may be promoted differently.
I have heard of other cities doing this neat promo, or also one where you get to be a photographer during the show (you win a camera and the opportunity to snap photos throughout the show). Some really cool ideas out there being done!
Thank you ILsinner, I always wondered how all that promo stuff worked. I think 105.1 in L.A. did a good job of promoting the show and they played a lot of Eric's music during that promo period (old & new) Tried many times, but never was caller 25 - never even got a ring - always a busy signal! Damn, I would have been the best guitar tech ever!
