Hey I just wanted to ask a couple questions about meet and greets, for people who have gotten them before. I requested one for the Hamilton show never thinking I would get chosen, because I have the worst luck ever. But I received my YES email yesterday and I'm beyond excited. I feel sort of bad about it because the tickets were a birthday present for my boyfriend and now I'm abandoning him to go hangout with Eric by myself lol. I guess when I signed up for it I kinda thought it would be you and a plus one, but he is still excited for me. So my questions are, is the meet and greet usually before or after the show, also are you allowed to bring things for him to sign or gifts for him. like do they have issues with that? Guess thats all thanks to who ever replies greatly appreciated.

April!

M&G

Hi April,

Congrats on the M&G, I hope you and your boyfriend have an awesome time!

Meet & greets have ALWAYS been before the show on this tour. Usually they take place about the same time the second opener comes on if there is one (an hour or so before the ECB takes the stage).

The rules state that you are allowed to bring an item for Eric to sign, but everyone I know of has been told not to bring an item, and that you will be given one. I was fortunate enough to meet up with Eric on two of the stops last year where I can confirm this was my experience as well. The item that was being given out was a nice signed 8x10.

Hope this helps!

Our M&G Experience

We were lucky enough to get M&G last May. However, not through the fan club. We were instructed in writing and several times verbally prior to the M&G not to bring anything to be signed, we would get a signed 8X10 on the way out. My then 12 year old daughter was first in line, and she could not contain herself, the first thing out of her mouth to Eric (after Hi) was "will you sign my boot?," Eric laughed, the guy in charge of the M&G got mad and said " no we are not staring that you were told no personal items". I apologized, saying she is only 12. Eric looked right at the guy and said "you know I am gonna sign her boot". It made her YEAR! Unfortunately for him, it opened the flood gates, since we were the first ones in line, and tons of people got things signed after us. She has never wore those boots again and has included them in her Shrine to Eric!

I got an M&G pass for the Hamilton show, it spent the night in my back pocket and is sitting here on my desk.... Couldn't bring my girlfriend, couldn't see Colt, wasn't worth it. I can't afford Boots and Hearts, so I decided I was more interested in seeing Colt's set than ditching my girlfriend and waiting for an hour to meet EC for maybe 5 minutes. These guys have all day. Doors to the venue opened an hour before the show, and they have to wait unitl the show actually starts to do the M&G? I was super disappointed by that. Mind you the show was amazing and I don't at all regret anything, just wish they could read a clock when setting things like this up.
