Thanks, Renee. It's so sad because I used to LOVE to come here but this new web site just stinks. It's sad to see how inactive it is too :(.

Let's hope it gets a BIG facelift and we can all gather again! Otherwise, I guess we'll just stick to the FaceBook Homeboy page?

I haven't been on here in a loooong time but I miss my Choir friends!! I used to check in multiple times a day and this place was flippin awesome :) But, this new format became a frustration instead of enjoyable entertainment ... and we all know EC and the ECB are much more enjoyable entertainment than frustrating ;)

Improvements/Reforms that I suggest are 1) using the word "post" instead of "save" to prevent double postings (2) removing the subject line from the posts (3) putting the posts in the order they were posted instead of mixing them up (4) allow a "quote" button if someone wants to reply directly to a post then at least we will know what they are replying to (5) i want smileys back :) and (6) not sure what is causing it, but it takes too long to get the forum loaded when moving between topics/posts; do we really need all the background stuff to load each time?

Please put all the new comments on the bottom, it's easier to follow what someone is commenting too. When it's up top, we have to scroll down and it gets way too confusing. I quit reading everything.

Agree with all that you all have said here. I never did post that much but it trying to figure this one out is awful. Definitely too much going on on the page and not very easy to navigate.

And another thing that really needs fixin'....after we post (like this one I'm typing now) and hit save, another blank comment thingy appears and there is no button to "go back to the forum".

It's confusing.

Hit Save. Hit Church Choir. Hit Forum. Hit Eric. Hit thread to make sure it posts.

not sure about anyone else but when I try to reply directly to someone - i get a partial pop-up. I can't type anything and have to refresh or back up to get out of it.

This is a very *NOT* user friendly board. I don't see many positive changes.

Like Chris said - you post and then you get another blank box....then have to go to Church Choir and "boards" and start over. And if you use the "go back to boards" button - it takes you to the main board - not the SPECIFIC one you were in.

I'm not a huge complainer but I honestly feel that the board set up is discouraging people from posting much....

hey Patti, I reported the unpostable pop-up box to MCN last week. I hope and would imagine they would get to pushing out an updated version soon but time will tell. We'll just have to keep using the main thread reply to all button until they get the other one fixed for our non-facebook choir communication

It's sad that most of us use the Homeboy FaceBook page to get our information these days. Maybe...just maybe....Drews email will help!!! Fingers crossed as I hit save, hit Church Choir, hit Eric Talk, Hit this thread to see if this posted.
