show ur credit card and id at the entrance..i would think they would have tickets for u there or how else would u know where ur sitting...
This is not correct. The procedure you have described is the will-call ticketing procedure.
With paperless tickets, you will receive a printed stub upon scanning your credit card/ID when you enter the venue. This stub will list off all the tickets that card has purchased and will be used to identify where you are sitting. Those who purchase paperless tickets will not receive actual tickets.
right, with paperless ticketing you bring your id and credit card to the will call window and they give you a physical ticket which is your entry into the venue, has your seat number or GA etc..i will be at the Wilkes Barre show too!
I am going to the Wilkes Barre show and have the paperless tickets, too. So we bring our credit card and license and don't have to go to will call?
That is correct, Jomsar.
ok, trying to understand then....when i went thru the fan club to purchase the tickets for the August shows....was this prior to the paperless ticketing? because in CT and NY in aug. I showed my ID and they gave me an actual ticket to get into the venues both times....so it will be different for the wilkes baree show? thanks :)
Yes, for the August shows sold through ticketmaster, will-call ticketing was the policy. That ticketing policy has been revised to paperless ticketing versus the prior will-call ticketing.
Now I'm still confused - one person says present the credit card & ID at the entrance and another says take those things to will call to get tickets. I guess I'll just go to will call & ask. Hopefully I'll have a meet & greet to pick up too! :) We should hear something about that too.
js_atomic,
Please see my post directly above yours.
Paperless ticketing huh? Well, until Ticketmaster or EC can give me a refund if I can't attend a concert, I'm NOT in favor. Sure, this will keep the scalpers at bay but it kicks the ass of fan property rights. How about we just set limits on stadium and entertainer profit limits instead?

Hi there,
Paperless tickets mean that you will not receive a physical ticket in-hand ahead of time. Once you arrive at the venue, you will present your ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets at the entrance. Will-call will only have physical tickets to the show, no paperless tickets. I hope this helps.
