I was at the show in Bossier City last night. I was a little concerned about the transition from playing in clubs to an arena. I'm glad to say that there was no need for any worry. Brantley Gilbert put on a great show but it was an awesome show from Eric. Other people have taslked about the set list so I'll skip that.
I didn't buy the VIP but with the help of some friends and an inattentive door guy I was able to walk right into the VIP experience. The food was good they had reasonably priced drinks and it was fun to hang out with all the other EC fans that went. Included in the VIP experience you get a T-Shirt, a pair of shot glasses, a signed limited edition show poster, and a two song acoustic set from EC. I hate to say it I'm glad I didn't buy it, while the stuff was pretty cool and the acoustic performance was great I'm not sure if it was worth 200 bucks. I could see an extra hundred or or maybe 150, but not the two hundred. One plus was I had GA pit tickets and they had blocked off a section on the left side of the stage for people that had the VIP experience. So you're able to get right up front before Brantley goes on stage. That was a nice touch. I can't gaurantee they are doing that at every venue but I'm pretty sure they are. So the VIP was pretty cool but I think a little overpriced. If you can afford it I would say go for it just don't be surprised when you get there.
