This new forum format sucks! ARE YOU HEARING ME? Half of the topics you can't get into to post....you have to come all the way out of a topic to go back in....to be honest, I'll be less likely to post if this continues (some of you may find that to be a good thing)....

if you hit reply on the left side then you are replying to the original post and it will show up immediately under there (until somebody else does the same and then it will be the newest on top)
if you hit the reply button on the right side then you are replying to that specific post (like I did here to SC's) and my post will show up under her post (again, until somebody else does then it will be the newest response to her post)
... having to back all the way out is just plain stupid
... I agree with the full screen view (*WE* know where to find this information outside of the forum)
... the "My Profile" button location bugs me - it's in the way of reading the posts

As quiet as it is in the forum area, I have a hunch a bunch of people feel the same way we do. It's too hard to navigate and you have to start over every time. Like now, I'll post this but to get back to Off Topic, I have to go back up to Church Choir, Forum and then Off Topic. Just doesn't seem as user friendly as I would like it to be......IMO :)
Oh.....Where are the darn smiley faces, lol, I like those little suckers! AND.....how can we post pictures and things???

I've already begun noticing some minor changes here and there so I've got some faith that MCN is going to keep working out the bugs in this system that's new to us. I don't have to re-type or copy/paste my comments anymore so that's a big plus!

It IS a bit frustrating, for sure!
Now that I'm able to at least post, and move around the site without being sent to the "JOIN" page every time I click on something, I'm not AS frustrated-but I'm by no means as comfy as I was on the old site...
I DO want to remind everyone that we hated the last new site too...until they got the bugs worked out and we got used to it.
That said, I don't like having to back ALL the way out either...and I also find it weird that my posts and replies are never in the order that I posted them. For some reason, I can be the 10th person to reply and my (on my screen, anyway) post shows up way at the top, under the initial post. It makes it hard to understand when you're reading back through a thread and it's just stuck in there willy-nilly...

Caroline-A - just click "preview" on a blank box....it will take you to the save/preview box and type there and hit save...that should work.
Tammi - it's different this time...it's not just getting used to something new....it's a very unuser friendly board.

But on a bright note... I'm not having to c/p my posts. I click "preview" and it's there! I think they're still working on it and each time we log in, we'll notice something different and easier to work with. (I hope so, anyway!)
