THANK YOU for notifying Church Choir members about the Opry show!! I am going back to Nashville and I cannot wait!! Doing the backstage tour too that night - thank you again for always keeping your fans in the loop!!!!
I second that, I would really love that poster
I just found out I will be back in Nashville around July 7 - 10th so got my ticket to get the great poster and see a wonderful show. I may have a lady with me (she is 82 now) that I always help around Nashville. About 4 or 5 years ago I was helping her and a group of older ladies around Fan Fair. There were two sisters back then one was 78 one was 83 and their friend was 87. We were having beers at the Tin Roof the Monday after Fan Fair was over. We walked out of the restroom and I noticed Eric was there with a friend. I walked over and ask if he would mind meeting the group of ladies. He was great and met them all. What happened that was a hoot was the 83 year old reached around and patted his bottom. He was very SURPRISED and it was so funny!! I believe to this day he may never forget that!!! That lady passed away 2 years ago and her sister Wanda will be with me in Nashville. We still miss Annabelle so much so I hope we get to see Eric and remind him of Annabelle. :-)
LOL!!!! Your post was priceless! Can only imagine the look of surprise when Eric got his bottom patted ;)

GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS: So excited about the Opry show tomorrow! I booked my tickets when the email came out. Then I saw this morning online that they added a 9:30 show. I called to see if I could switch our tickets from the 7pm show to the 930pm show. GOOD NEWS & BAD NEWS: I got to switch and got better seats BUT now they say I cannot get the poster?? She said that "promotion code" is expired. I tried to argue that the "promotion code" was valid when I booked, so the poster is accounted for!! She said "sorry, but no poster since you changed tickets"
So, how much sense does that make? Anyone who booked BEFORE the deadline and used the code was to get a poster. WHY would that change because I switched tickets?? It's not like if someone called today and got the seat is I originally had they could get the poster, right? I know it is no big deal - in fact I could have kept what I had. I just think it is silly.
In the end, I decided having better seats and going to the late show was worth it!
Happy Birthday to ME...I'm going to CHURCH at the OPRY!!

Happy Birthday Shelly!
When you get to the Opry, be sure and ask if they have any posters left. I have always been impressed with their customer service, and they might just be able to help out the birthday girl. Good Luck!
Caroline...you were RIGHT! I went to the box office the day before and explained my situation. They told me to come back at 5 or so the night of the show. I did and...YAY....got my poster!!! :)
That's so awesome you got your poster Shelly!! I really dig the poster and can't wait to see mine in person...a friend was nice enough to get me one :)
