it may have been a venue issue. NOT that I had the paperless ticket...but at the Mohegan Sun in CT they put a big BIG red X across your ticket.....and gave you a wrist band for the pit. To re-enter the pit you HAD to have the Ticket w/the X on it and the wrist band. You could NOT have just one.

Last night in pa I was in the pit...paperless ticket, however when they slide your credit card they printed you out a 'ticket' to tell you where you went, then they red lined it and gave u a wristband to get into/out the pit area...you had to show both. i had no issues in the first row, not sure how the back of the pit was though.
I believe it was more of the arena being unprepared. Who knew that people will be jumping the fence or asking people for there tickets.
The arena was unprepared for a lot of things. Like agreeing to have Eric Church play at the arena, but probably not informing his publicist that it was a "dry campus" and no alcohol will be sold. I guess they did not know it was the "Blood, Sweat and Beers" tour.
Anyway, I had a great time regardless.
Cannot be to much of a sore sport when I rocked out for 90 minutes
Yeah, that's a venue issue. If you haven't already, you should send the venue an e-mail describing everything you just told us here. I'd be interested to hear their response on something like that.
Paperless ticketing huh? Well, until Ticketmaster or EC can give me a refund if I can't attend a concert, I'm NOT in favor. Sure, this will keep the scalpers at bay but it kicks the ass of fan property rights. How about we just set limits on stadium and entertainer profit limits instead?
