So...I'm headed to the show next Thursday evening with a Pit ticket in hand (or rather locked in my credit card swipe). Anyway, what can be expected in the pit? Utter and total craziness? I've seen Dierks at the same venue and felt like I was 102 in the pit with all of the college kids around. I'm guessing it'll be a pretty similar vibe...
Anyway, it's my first EC show. I saw him open for Bob Seger several years ago. I am SO excited!
She's right it depends on venue crowd area all that good stuff. From my experience at his shows be sure once you are in the pit it's for good because even if they know you were up there and just went to grab a drink they will fight you not to get back up there to your group or friend or wheatever. I also saw a lot of little fights over some of the stupidest things. so get ready for a lot of that kind of stuff. his fan base since chief came out i have noticed are getting a lot more rude. used to be so much fun now it's get good at ignoring the stupid/rude ones or it will ruin your night
Yep all of the above is correct ..depends on venue and crowd..however you can make it what you want...make friends wit those around you...even security..ignore what you can and never ever let anyone push you out of the way...don't leave much space in front of you .... stand your ground ...LOL have fun

Honestly it depends on the venue, the crowd....I've been in pits that were horrible. I've been pressed into the stage (or barrier), hit, shoved and climbed on.
Then i've been in pits where there is no issue what so ever. Nothing.
Boston and Connecticut were the politest crowds I've ever been in. Other Mass locations - not so much lol.
