Does anyone know if Eric and his tour management have a new policy against bringing posters to shows? I had one made last night for the show in Columbia that I was REALLY excited about but when I got to the door to have my ticket scanned the lady took it from me and threw it away, saying that Eric's management said no posters allowed. It was just a standard sized poster, nothing unusual but I KNOW I've seen people bring in posters before, so I was just upset because I was SO EXCITED to have made something to catch his attention. I was in the pit if that makes a difference.
It was still FANTASTIC show... I brought a few friends that hadn't seen him before and they are now hooked :)

That's odd cause I went to

That's odd cause I went to the one in Lafayette and my friend made a poster for Kip Moore to see with lights on it too and they didn't take it at the door. Must be something real new

every show i have gone to of

every show i have gone to of Eric's this year at different venues, cities, states. None of them took peoples posters away no matter where they were in the venue.
That was probably a venue thing that they blamed on eric's people to make you less upset. they tried that with my friends camera but when we got in we asked someone from eric's tour and they said it was fine to have a camera and take pics.

I checked the venue 'rules'

I checked the venue 'rules' on posters and it just said they were allowed as long as they were smaller than banner sized. The lady checking tickets just would not give my poster back, she took it straight from my hands and threw it away and blamed Eric's management. Oh well. I want to try making another for a later show this year, but don't want to waste my time if in fact they have changed their rules about bringing posters.
