So.....

What EXACTLY was the point of pre-ordering the cd?

Seems to me that the ONLY perk to doing so is getting to hear one track early (which we DO appreciate!). If I'd-and a LOT of others- had known we wouldn't be receiving it ON RELEASE DAY (Notice I didn't ask for it early), we'd have just waited and gone to a retail location where you hand them money and have product in hand - ON the actual release day.

Pretty much...

Pretty pissed about this. I would just go get a copy in town, I wouldn't mind having 2, just don't have the money. It is very ridiculous that we can't have a physical copy in our hands for today. Definitely not asking for too much in my opinion.

I'm in the same boat...

I don't have the money to go buy another copy right now. (If I did, I'd only be slightly irritated!)I did at the time I ordered-which was one reason I DID pre-order. I wanted to make sure I had it ASAP and this way I wouldn't miss out, come release day.

I'm partially rescinding my gripe...

ksadlm96: I apologize for ..going off on you a bit ago-partially. I have since found that the digital copies have been sent to our profiles - thank you to MCN for that.

I DO stand by the rest of what I said, however. It's ridiculous that MCN has failed the fan club members regarding the actual cd.

I know it's not *YOUR* fault, but...you're the one they elected to post here, so you get the brunt of it, unfortunately. People are angry and disappointed.

btchymoodyma,I am also not happy about not getting the cd today either. I've dealt with MCN before. MCN is not organized, or should I say maybe not customer savy with fan club members. This is in MCN hands, not the artist. Music artist(Eric Church) are controlled by a label/company and can't make the decisions. We as fans, have to find out for ourselves and then be patient, we will get the "Chief" cd and listen to the best country music out there! Eric Church is #1!

I guess we all got spoiled

We we recieved Carolina a few days before it was released when we pre-ordered. Not having the copy I ordered from here yet had me really bumbed. So I gave into temtation and now will have to go without eating when I'm @ work.(Have food for home) just not enough money to eat @ work. Because temtaion won I bought a hard copy. & the more I think about that wouldn't it be nice to get #1 in sale on actural CD's LOL we could make it happen.
