Question - How can a show that is titled "Blood, Sweat and Beers" be at a venue that has a no alcohol policy for ticketed events? Guess I'll have to wait for Reading or Atlantic City, I can't imagine watching EC or BG without a cold one!

wow

I was shocked to hear that. I've never been to or heard of a civic center having a policy that bans all alcohol sales, period.

Does MD have pretty conservative liquor laws or something? From the Midwest and here we learn to drink beer before riding a bike without training wheels. I've heard that some Eastern states have much stricter laws.

I have never heard of it

Shocked Too!
I have never heard of it either and was shocked when I read it. I don't feel that MD is that strict with their driniking laws. I've tailgated at many concerts and sporting events with out an issue.

Here is the Alcohol Policy from the website: Alcohol Policy
The sale of alcohol is prohibited at all ticketed Civic Center events. Additionally, guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages into the building during ticketed events.

Wonder if EC is aware of this?

No alcohol policy

I've shot this idea around with some of the first Choir members who have recalled a couple shows over the years like this.

Their recommendation: Find a bar close by to grab a few beers at before the show.
