To get in holiday spirit, Taste of Country gathered stories about some of your favorite country stars' most unforgettable Halloween costumes, memories and more. Whether you're stuck in an office all day or hanging out at home getting your kids (or yourself) ready for some evening Halloween fun, this list is sure to be a treat to the country music fan. “My first year of college, there was this thing that they did every year in Chapel Hill, N.C.: Halloween on Franklin Street. [My friends and I] didn’t have costumes, and didn’t realize until we were on the way that we had to have costumes. So we end up finding this hole-in-the-wall place [that] had Sesame Street outfits. We were Elmo, Cookie Monster, and I was Big Bird. We had great costumes. That year, there was no other Big Bird on Franklin Street!” [Quote via Capitol Nashville]
