First, we would like to offer a word of thanks for the previously overwhelming generosity of Choir members in the support of the Mason G Smoak Foundation! It is because of that generosity that the Choir4MGSF is excited to share with you the opportunity to offer our sponsorship for the third consecutive year of Mason G. Smoak Foundation's Annual 5K Family Fun Day & Music Festival to be held Oct 8, 2011.

We are very proud to say that we have provided an annual sponsorship on behalf of the Choir since the event's inception, and are looking forward to continuing that tradition! Our goal is to generate enough donations to provide a sponsorship for this year's event. All donations, regardless of size, are welcome and very much appreciated.

The MGSF has asked that all sponsorships be submitted no later than August 25, 2011. All donations to be included with the Church Choir submission must be received at the address listed below no later than August 20, 2011 to allow us time to meet those guidelines. Once all donations are received we will submit them collectively under the name “CHOIR4MGSF”.

On October 8th, 2011 we will be holding our 3rd Annual 5K Family Fun Day & Music Festival. The day will kick off at 7:00 am with our 5K race, a Family Fun Walk at 8:00, with the Fun Day & Music Festival immediately following.
This event is designed from the ground up to be a very family friendly event with dozens of activities for children and families alike. Attendees will enjoy bounce houses, face painting, a dunk tank, a silent auction featuring many unique items, live music, and plenty of food and refreshments allowing our local community to come out and enjoy a day of fun, fellowship, and entertainment at very little expense.
Over the past 3 years with your help our Foundation has been able to provide funding to a wide range of vital areas in the community including: scholarships for young people in Highlands County, Evangelism for Children, Highlands County Youth For Christ, Manna Ministries, Samaritan’s Touch, Big Brothers & Big Sisters Ministries & Christmas Store (Toy Drive), Habitat for Humanity and Redlands Christian Migrant Association to name a few. We are also excited to kick off our first class of students in our Youth Leadership Highlands program which is designed and implemented by our Foundation. If you are interested in supporting our 5K Family Fun Day and Music Festival and continuing our efforts please see the accompanying sponsorship information.
