For the 3rd year in a row, the Church Choir has generated enough donations to afford us our very own sponsorship of the Mason G. Smoak Foundation 5K Family Fun Day & Music Festival! The sponsorship will be listed under "Choir4MGSF".
We can't think of any other fan club that comes together of their own accord to show their support for any given charity! We hope you'll take just a moment to consider how very remarkable that truly is!

5K Family Fun Day & Music Festival
We are writing on behalf of the Mason G. Smoak Foundation to request your help in supporting our 3rd Annual 5K Family Fun Day & Music Festival. With your help we are able to keep Mason’s legacy of local community involvement, youth development, and sharing the message of Jesus Christ with others alive and well.
On October 8th, 2011 we will be holding our 3rd Annual 5K Family Fun Day & Music Festival. The day will kick off at 7:00 am with our 5K race, a Family Fun Walk at 8:00, with the Fun Day & Music Festival immediately following.
This event is designed from the ground up to be a very family friendly event with dozens of activities for children and families alike. Attendees will enjoy bounce houses, face painting, a dunk tank, a silent auction featuring many unique items, live music, and plenty of food and refreshments allowing our local community to come out and enjoy a day of fun, fellowship, and entertainment at very little expense.
Over the past 3 years with your help our Foundation has been able to provide funding to a wide range of vital areas in the community including: scholarships for young people in Highlands County, Evangelism for Children, Highlands County Youth For Christ, Manna Ministries, Samaritan’s Touch, Big Brothers & Big Sisters Ministries & Christmas Store (Toy Drive), Habitat for Humanity and Redlands Christian Migrant Association to name a few. We are also excited to kick off our first class of students in our Youth Leadership Highlands program which is designed and implemented by our Foundation. If you are interested in supporting our 5K Family Fun Day and Music Festival and continuing our efforts please see the accompanying sponsorship information. We understand that economic times can be tough and any help you may provide is greatly appreciated. Whether or not you are able to make a gift, we look forward to seeing you at this event.
