Anybody besides me buy tickets for Sioux City, IA this am and get good seats, then find out later today they change the floor plan and added a pit!! A bit disgusted, especially when they only offered paperless tickets which can't be changed. I was on the phone and transferred to about 4 different people, and got no where. You have to realize that when other people are ordering it becomes very busy and tickets get re-released, yes but that doesn't mean you can change the floor plan whenever you please. Oh well, guess I will be sitting this concert out and hoping the catwalk comes out to the seating cause I'm in row 2, otherwise I will just see people's heads in the pit!!
Cincinnati is paperless as well. Looks like that's the new setup for presale tickets. Hopefully all goes well! I hate scalpers, if this is what I gotta do, then this is what I gotta do!
Glad you got pit, I know I will be better sitting anyway cause I think it will get pretty rowdy up there. Must be my slow internet connection, but the floor plan the whole time before never even showed a pit. I think the paperless ticket is a good thing to stop scalpers, but leery too. They r gonna have to have a separate line or you pit people r gonna really be slowed down before entering. Hopefully all will go well, just don't forget your credit card and id!! Only 3 1/2 more months and we will find out!! =)
I personally did not think the ticket process for this show was all that bad honestly, but then again I dealt with the fiasco that was the Topeka presale so the fact that I had seats and the order all done in less than 10 minutes was a bonus in my mind. I got 2 seats on the floor in row 6.
The seating chart for the Tyson Events Center looks to be about the same as what they did in Topeka and if so, the catwalk comes out towards the pit.
so is the paperless tickets just for pit which is the same as general admission? or is paperless tickets for the whole venue?
Thinking that maybe the paperless was just for the fanclub pre-sale, but it's just a guess. I'm all for it, if it keeps the scalpers away.
I took my youngest to Miley Cyrus once and it was a paperless ticket show. I had to give them the credit card I purchased tickets with, they scanned it(like a portable credit card machine) and the tickets printed right there. It was more like a receipt with the row and seat information. Hope this gives you some idea of what the process will be.. The lines for that show actually went pretty smoothly. Just remember if you don't HAVE to bring a purse or anything, you will get through faster..
luke bryan and a bunch of others do paperless tickets for there fanclub presales it's just so fans actually get the tickets. I have done this at plenty of shows and it always went very smoothly just make sure you have your ID and CC you paid with and bring the reciept and you'll have no issues :) I'm so excited got PIT yet again for the milwaukee wi show... waiting for green bay wi to go on sale since it's the day after my b-day time for a party!!!
Thanks for the info, guys! I'm sure nothing will go wrong, it's just new and I'm bad with new stuff sometimes. LOL Can't wait til September 28th!!
I ordered right at 10 and saw the pit there. I have front and center tickets. I was a bit concerned about GA pit, but the catwalk does come out so really I won't have many people in front of me because we smack in the center of row one right in front of the cat walk! I cannot wait for this show! Did any of you do VIP tickets? I haven't seen an email on that yet so not sure how that will all work out.
The paperless tickets are pretty smooth. Omaha does this and it works just fine as long as you have the credit card you bought tickets with and ID.

Odd. I bought my presale tickets this morning for Sioux City too. I did it right at 10, when the presale started and got the GA pit tickets. However, I'm EXTREMELY leery about this paperless ticket thing. I REALLY don't like it. I feel like something is going to go wrong. Not to mention, they give you no information on what to do when you get to the Tyson Events Center. Do I go to will call? I highly doubt they're gonna have hand-held devices that can scan my card and make sure I bought these damn tickets. I printed my receipt to take with, just in case. I wonder if other venues are the same, or if it's just Sioux City. You're the only person I've seen mention the paperless tickets besides me.
