I've been lucky enough to see Eric about 10 or so times. Most of those times through luck and chance I've gotten to meet eric and the band. They are all as cool and laid back as they seem. I think the best time was on Halloween of 2007 I think in Seattle. Through a radio station promo my wife and I were invited to a pre-show party that included food and an acoustic session of about a half hour. Eric walked out with a guitar shook everyone's hand said hi, sat down and said so what do ya'll wat to hear? He stayed for more than the half hour and just hung out talked about the songs and life on the road and played a few songs, including an early version of She Loves my Willie. definately a cool night. And then a llittle later his typical high energy live show. It was a great night and one I won't forget.
