This Topeka show was a pain in the rear. Had the presale code and nothing was showing as available. Took almost 35 minutes to get a result for tickets and the closest I could get
was in section 115. Not what I wanted for being a fan club member, but did not want to miss out so I bought them, took them. Ticketmaster, blehhhhhh.
Just a bit ago, for grins and giggles I check back on the pre-sale for Topeka and same story, just wanting tickets (without the VIP package) and I cannot get any results to come back. But now if I wished to upgrade to the VIP package, I can sit in the first two rows of section B. That's great for those that can afford the bump to that, but dang, there is nothing closer for us
regular folks? Curious who sets what seats are reserved for which pre-sales. I'll be happy with the seats I have as this show is just 3 hours from home, so no sense in missing it, but between this frustrating experience and then seeing the seats for the same show appear on Stub Hub, ugh!!
And that is kind of my point and another source of frustration, is that you did 30 minutes better than I did (luck you) and are on the floor where it took me that long to get what I got on the side, which I'm sure will be fine, but at this point, its principle to a degree.
I could go on and on with this, but what's done is done. I'm mad as hell about how this went, but not mad enough to miss the show, so I guess I should shut up and wait for May 18th now.
i bought tickets for the reading pa presage this morning and after about 20 mins of persistence i pulled up 2 pit seats. I am very excited but obviously i got really lucky. i have the same frustrations with other fan clubs. i really feel a lot of fan clubs should start doing the blind ticket sales more often so us fan club members truly get the best seats. i have never gotten worse than 3rd row in a blind sale.
They are to blame. We were tring to buy 4 tickets this morning and could never get 4 together. At random times we could get 1 or even 2 which looking back now we should have purchased. The issue is these ticket brokers. They obviously join the fan clubs and then get on like the rest of us buying up all the tickets. Go look at ebay right now and search for ERIC CHURCH TOPEKA. Ebay is full of offers from random ticket resellers that offer the same $50 tickets that were on sale to fan club members this morning for 5X the price.
I was still stewing about the Topeka pre-sale (yeah I know I should let it go, but...) so I strolled over to ebay to see some of the options for tickets for the show and I found some on the floor for roughly 200 a piece....I sent the seller this message just to vent. I wonder if I get a reply.
Thanks, for being one of the many resellers to scoop up tickets for the Topeka show and keep me from being able to get a seat on the floor at face value. You do realize that as a fan club member, I could buy a VIP ticket for less than what you are selling these for? 200 a pop is out my price range, but I'll sit higher up long before I'll stoop to your level and line your pocket for a show you'll never see.
Thanks again and have a great day and enjoy your membership in the Church Choir.
p.s, hopefully the sarcasm was noted.

I started trying for tickets right when they went on sale. It took me about 5 minutes until I was offered any tickets. I got section 3, 8th row tickets. I hear you about the VIP packages. If I could afford that, I could be sitting in section 2,front row. However, I am happy with my seats and looking forward to the show!
