I'm going to the concert in Huntington, WV on December 1st and my sister and I bought the VIP which gets us the pre-show performance and the bundle with a shirt and signed stuff etc. Was just confused when I got an e-mail today saying the pre-show will be going on when Kip Moore is performing. I figured it would be much earlier. This probably lowers are chance of getting a close standing area next to the stage because the pit is general admission and everyone else with GA Pit tickets will be there while we are 3 blocks away watching the pre-show. I know it's an awesome thing to get to see Eric perform a couple songs acoustically with a small crowd but was wondering if anyone else had this issue? Went and saw Brantley last week at the same venue, Big Sandy Superstore Arena and they roped off a section for the VIP Ticket holders.
Yep, i agree thats the one downside, its too bad they dont rope off an area for the VIP b/c then you are in the back. but if someone else is going with you then they can hold your spot. However, in VA I did VIP and was able to move right to front of the stage on left, so its always a possibility. Enjoy the show! :)
Yea we got the VIP too. We got the reserved seats. Because I heard about this problem. Of course I don't mind skipping kip or a little of Justin. I'm 100% going for Eric. Saw him eariler in pikeville. And can't wait for Huntington.
Yeah, there is a downside to getting the VIP, but the VIP is soo worth it! I went to the VIP at the Youngstown show on the first leg of the tour, and it was totally worth it. I am also going to the Huntington show, but did not get VIP this time for the specific reason that I would miss Kip. I have only seen him perform the two acoustic songs he got to perform at CMA Fest this past year so I kinda want to see what he's got because I love his album and he's got sort of an EC attitude. Anyway, I would say getting the VIP experience is going to be worth it to miss Kip. We only missed Blackberry Smoke as they promised we would get out in time to see Brantley, and we walked to the pit just as Brantley was coming out. Enjoy this opportunity!

Yes, I went last night in Portland. First off, the VIP is amazing, as you get two songs from EC up close and personal - I was literally 2 feet away from him. With that said, we did miss all of Kip Moore's performance and some of Justin's. The GA was packed by the time we got in there. If you have friends saving your space, that works best. Otherwise, good luck. That was the bummer part for sure - that you pay so much $$ and have to stand a ways away.
