If you have the opportunity, the VIP was absolutely worth the extra expense - if it is handled like it was for the Orange Beach, AL show. I had some concerns about purchasing VIP after reading some past comments, especially regarding how pit fans were basically on their own after the VIP 2-song concert with Eric finished. Apparently Eric's people and CID are listening to feedback. They had a section of the pit just to the right of the stage reserved by barricade for VIP fans after the party finished. (Our party host told us this was the first time they had done this.) They led us out and had us in place in time for Brantley to take the stage. They then moved the barricades out before Eric's show, allowing us to move up a little further. We ended up 5-10 rows from the stage on the right side. We were kept informed throughout the VIP party on how things were going to be done and had no problems in picking up our goodie bags after the show from the VIP check-in. My wife and I could not have asked for a better concert and VIP experience!
I'm glad to hear you had a great experience and that CID and Eric's people are listening.
