Hi there - This will be my first time doing the VIP package and I'm wondering a couple things details....such as...when does the acoustic set usually happen and do you miss any of the opening act performances? Are you having the complimentary food while Eric is performing? Do they give you something to carry the T-shirt and poster in so it doesn't get messed up during the concert? And finally.....it says you get an e-mail "at least two weeks prior to the event with instructions..."..my show is on 10/27 but I haven't received the e-mail yet..should I worry? Anybody who has done the VIP part before - appreciate any insight you care to provide. Thanks!
Have fun at the VIP and I hope you get chosen to get a M&G through the VIP.
(Drew...as always...YOU ROCK!)
thanks so much, Drew. I'm really looking forward to the show. Actually, an hour after I posted my questions, I got the e-mail from CID with the details. I didn't realize with the VIP purchase you are also entered into a raffle for a meet & greet..that would be fantastic! I've been reading how few there are for each show and how folks have been trying for years to get one. This will be my fourth concert and m&g try this year and while disappointed when the denial e-mail arrives, it is somewhat comforting to know you're not the only one.
I'll attempt to answer all of your questions based on my own experience.
when does the acoustic set usually happen?
The acoustic set usually happens as close to 8PM as possible.
do you miss any of the opening act performances?
You will most likely miss some of Kip Moore's set, if not all of it. But, they try to get everything done before Justin Moore so you can see his whole set.
Are you having the complimentary food while Eric is performing?
The complimentary food started during my VIP experience as soon as doors opened. The food was out until people left to find their seats for the main show
Do they give you something to carry the T-shirt and poster in so it doesn't get messed up during the concert?
You get a plastic bag to carry your items in. The posters have been rolled up to keep them looking nice. At some shows, you are allowed to pick up your merch pack prior to doors opening so you can secure the items in your vehicle.
It says you get an e-mail "at least two weeks prior to the event with instructions..." my show is on 10/27
but I haven't received the e-mail yet. Should I worry?
There is no need to be concerned unless you need to know a time frame this far in advance (Example: traveling from out of town or asking off work early. I would expect to receive the e-mail the week of the show at the latest. If you don't hear from CID Entertainment regarding your show within a couple days of the event, give them a call (contact information is at http://www.cidentertainment.com. I for whatever reason did not recieve the email (I have a really good spam blocker) and upon calling them had an e-mail within minutes.
I hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if I left something out.
Have fun at the show!!
