Has anyone done a VIP show recently and if so, has the VIP section in the pit been blocked off specifically for the folks in the VIP? I've heard them doing it, but didn't know if it has continued. THANKS!

I am wondering the same thing I purchased VIP for the Toledo show
It worked for us, you will have to let me know if it works for you guys as well!
I hear that!
I may try that if there isn't a "reserved" section for the VIP. Pay the big bucks, you oughta get a good spot.
I had 2 VIP experiencces, one amazing, another great...but I lOVE the idea of holding up your VIP passes to get front and center in the pit! Brilliant! I will do that for the show in CT if need be. Thx!
I can't afford the VIP experience and after hearing the negative comments I was kind of glad I didn't. That being said I have read quite a few positive posts now I'm thinking I wish I could have done it this tour. I have been a fan long enough and lucky enough to have met Eric at most of the shows I've seen him at, as well as winning a radio contest and getting an invite to a VIP acoustic show a few years ago. It was a great experience to see Eric in that small intimate setting. I'm sure you guys will enjoy the experience despite any neagtive parts. Just enjoy it for what it is and remember there are people who won't even get to see him on this tour because he's not hitting their town.
Thanks for the info I have been concerned due to the negative things I have read posted I contacted CID about the negative things I have heard and this was what the said.
Thank you for reaching out. We apologize that you have been reading negative comments about the VIP Package, but we can assure you that the amount of happy guests outweighs the negative comments. We have had a few instances where unsigned posters got mixed into our batch, but we made sure to send out signed ones immediately! With any type of Pit, whether it is VIP or not, you are submerged into a crowd atmosphere, we do our best to accommodate you but sometimes options are limited.
Ya i think seein Eric throw down 2 acoustic songs would be worth it! My show is in Springfield, Mo on May 3rd, ill def. report back for everyone. But im expecting the same if yalls show is prior to mine! LOL
I had the VIP package for the Indiana Pa show on March 3 and I dont regret it at all. My understanding is the food is catered by a local company at every show and our food was fantastic. Eric came out and talked for a minute or two and asked how everybody was doing and then played two acoustic songs. To see him play in that small dimly lit setting was worth the price for me. Our posters were autographed and the shirts were high quality and the shot glassses are absolutely top quality. As far as the pit goes, our show didnt have a section roped off but there was an open pathway on either side of the pit and all we had to do was hold up our VIP passes as we went through the crowd and we were front row center. We even had a good 5 minutes before Brantley started playing. All in all my experience was worth the $400.
