I designed a tour poster for the Pikeville, KY show that I would love to be used if all possible and if it's well-received. Who would I need to contact about this and send my design to for review?!?!

Also they might not use your design for Pikeville but perhaps it could be used for another show.

Thanks for the input, guys! I posted it on the Main Feed and also the official Facebook page as well. Let me know what you think, it's simplistic, but symbolic and cool looking too!
Uh Dan I might not be too bright but I can't seem to find the pic, a little help please :)
I'm a dumb ass found it. I like it.
You aren't a dumbass, that feed is kinda finicky to use, it took me a while to figure out how to even get the pic uploaded, hahaha. Thanks man!
How did they pick posters? Who got to design them?
There has got to be a story behind this.

Chris, I have no idea, and that's what I need to find out! hahaha
Have you found out anything? I'm *really* curious now that you posted this!
Nope, unfortunately I have not found out anything yet, they may have had artists for all the dates lined up already. I surely hope not. Because this poster I designed has gotten some good reviews by a lot of fans, and plus the people of Pikeville would love it for sure! Have you seen it yet, Chris?
Nice poster design! Hope you can find something out/they can use it!
Thanks so much! I still haven't found out anything yet but I'm hoping it will happen! I don't want any monetary compensation, maybe just a signed one for a keepsake, it would do my heart good to see my design used. Pikeville is where I was born and where I got my start singing so it means the world to me!
Good Luck to you :) Maybe make one and take it to the show and try to have it signed?
Talked to a member of Eric's management team today in regards to the poster, regrettably they have already chosen a design for the show poster, I was very disappointed to hear this news, especially since I have had this design for nearly 2 months now. To their credit though, they did agree to send an autographed picture for a Relay for Life benefit show I am having the night before at a nearby venue. Still a little downhearted though :(
That looks really nice, Dan, I'm sorry it wasn't chosen. Did they tell you how they picked each poster? I'm curious for the one for my show at Red Rocks in Colorado.
I'm also happy that they responded to you. It's good to know they aren't blowing us off anymore!
Keep on creating, "you do good work" lol :-)
Im sorry to hear that they have already chosen another design. Understandably disappointed. Nice that they contacted you back though and offered the autograph. You never know, maybe next time :)
I actually took the initiative and contacted them over the phone, I'm surprised they called me back. I don't know who the guy was that I spoke to but he really didn't seem too interested in talking to me and seemed really in a hurry to get off the phone. Ah well, he did take the time to return my call though, which he didn't have to do that much. It was the front desk personnel that agreed to send the autograph after me asking about one and mentioning my Relay For Life fundraiser.
I'm thinking about having some of my posters printed up myself and giving them out at the show for free, lol.
That would be very nice of you!
Several people on his official Facebook page hitting "Like" on my poster design, makes me even more disheartened. :(
Don't be disheartened, be proud!!!!!!
:)
Yes, be proud of your design! People are noticing and you never know what that may bring to you in the future! :)
The design for the poster they picked is now on the tour page. I'm not brokenhearted that I didn't get one now. I hate to say it but it looks kinda lackluster to me and I honestly thought mine looked better, it would have meant more to the city of Pikeville too. In my opinion, the liquor bottles are overdone, mine had symbolism, those winding curvy roads in a way represented his career and the sharp turns it has taken, only for him to come out on top!

Hey Dan,
Post something about this on the main feed as MCN will see it sooner (the main feed is more closely monitored).
*IF* they are able to help and the Pikeville show does not already have an artist, they may consider your offer but I am definitely not involved in this in any way...just suggesting you post there to increase your odds.
Hopefully either way we'll get to see your design someday!
