I know I sound like the proverbial broken record. Guess who wins the Disc of the Day? The same guy who has won six previous Disc of the Day prizes. Here’s a hint: His Carolina CD is one of the nominees for a Nashville Music Award as Country Album of the Year. That’s right, it’s our perennial DisClaimer favorite, Eric Church.

 

I have made no secret of my admiration for this artist and his ultra inventive producer. He has at last broken through into the top-10 with “Love Your Love the Most.” This chugging, relentless follow-up is even better. The gal in question is “heaven on the eyes,” but “hell on the heart.” How cool is that?
