We're saddened to announce that the Bloomington, IL show tonight, April 29th, has been canceled due to illness. Eric and the team are very disappointed and apologetic. Please read below for a personal message from Eric and and for information on how to obtain a refund.
"I'm so disappointed. I apologize to everybody for having to cancel tonight's show. I've played shows with injuries before but unfortunately cannot overcome having no voice. I hate that this came so late in the day but I've tried everything I know of to get it back and wanted to give it as much time as I could to try and make the show happen. To the fans that were planning on attending, I owe you one." - Eric
Refunds are available at original point of purchase. All credit card purchases via Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded.

Come on. Give him a break. He works his ass off to give you the best show possible, and all you do is cry over spilled milk. He can't help it that he had to cancel not only this show, but a couple of others. Eric's a true professional, and the best at what he does.

All we wanna know is when are you comming back to us? We live in Galesburg ill...HELL OF A PARTY TOWN and WHEN ARE YOU PARTYIN WITH US!?!?!?!!!! Money is no object...everyone has it and it comes and goes...were just looking for a hell of a time with a bad ass singer/songwriter!!! TAKE CARE OF YOUR FANS!!! How does it make you "fans" feel that Eric had to cancel 2 shows, following this one, due to losing his voice, not because he was "so hammered" the night before. Give him a break, he sings his heart out like 5 nights a week. It is a bummer the way it happened but just because you heard this and heard that doesn't mean it is true. If you didn't see it with your own eyes then don't spread it with your big mouth. I saw your show Saturday night Eric and it was the best one I have ever been to! Can't wait for the State fair :) Thanks for great music and never letting me down!
Eric said he "owed the fans one" and I had great tickets for that night that I had won on B104. Eric could get me two tickets to see him at the Illinois State Fair to make up for the cancelled show. I saw him in Chicago with Bob Seger in 2006 and really liked him then and was highly anticipating seeing him again. It took a lot of work to win those tickets and not get anything out of the work. I've also heard the stories of drinking till 5am and getting completely trashed. Honestly the only way you can prove me wrong now is for a free show for everyone that had a ticket for Sunday or a personal phone call and explanation. Yeah, you do owe me and the 1000's of fans that were crushed. I waited years for this and to be turned away after the doors were to open was a stab in the back. Unless you make an attempt to fix this you will never get another penny from me in any form including future shows. This will also be a lesson to everyone for years to come. Don't bite the hand that feeds you Chief!
I feel bad for people who could not get refunds. My step son and his girl friend could not get tickets other than stub hub. Guees what stub hub gives no refunds. They also drove for hours got a hotel room and could not get that back as well. so they are both out a large chunk of there weekly pay for nothing. they ended up driving home when they heard no show no room no refund no show no refund. no making up for these kind of fans
I heard that you stayed up till 5 in the morning drinking your ass off and you were hungover to perform. I bought my tickets right after the second show was added and you canceled it because of your "Illness". I wass pissed off that you did this that I wanted to hunt you down myself and put you at the main enterance of the coliseum and have you explained why you canceled. What you did pissed off a lot of people. I paid good money for your show and you chicken out at the last minute. The brown bottle flu is not a good excuse to cancel the show. You are a professional singer and going out and getting drunk the night before the show is not professional. So the next time you are ever in Bloomington Illinois you better put on a FREE SHOW and appologise for what really happened.

I can't lie, my fiancee and I had our hearts broken last night. Combining her round trip drive to my place and our round trip to Bloomington, we drove over 830 miles and close to 16 hours, stood in the rain for almost 2 hours to ensure we had the front row on the floor, and then the show was cancelled. We've been waiting for almost 3 years to get a chance to see you live so it practically took all we had not to break down and cry! I guess we know how the Griswold's felt when they got to Wally World now!
I understand things like this happen and I'm not angry, just crushed with disappointment. You're still The Chief to us both though! I'm in Evansville, but we couldn't make that show and thought we'd lucked out by being able to go to this one. All I ask (beg) is please come back to the Evansville/Indianapolis area soon! (And maybe share a 5th of Jack Daniels with a sinner like me :)

I can't lie, my fiancee and I had our hearts broken last night.
