CMA SONGWRITERS SERIES RETURNS TO NEW YORK CITY NOV. 2
Eric Church, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Luke Laird Join Host Bob DiPiero

Between stops in Chicago and Nashville, the popular CMA Songwriters Series will return to New York City's Joe's Pub on Tuesday, Nov. 2 (6:30 and 9:00 PM/ET).

Featuring EMI Records Nashville recording artist Eric Church ("Love Your Love the Most," "Hell on the Heart," and "Smoke a Little Smoke," all recorded by Church), the CMA Songwriters Series allows music fans insight into the stories behind some of their favorite songs. Church's critically acclaimed sophomore album, Carolina, debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Country chart and produced two Top 10 singles. Described by Rolling Stone as possessing "old-school songwriting craftsmanship," Church wrote or co-wrote every song on Carolina.  Church will be on the road with Miranda Lambert this Fall on the "CMT On Tour."

"I can't wait to take a bite out of the Big Apple! There is nothing better than sitting back with a few good friends and playing some great tunes," said Church. "I love the city, I love the company, I can't wait to throw down in New York!"

Joining Church will be Carolyn Dawn Johnson ("Single White Female" recorded by Chely Wright, "Downtime" recorded by Jo Dee Messina, and "Complicated" recorded by Johnson), Luke Laird ("So Small" and "Last Name" recorded by Carrie Underwood, and "Hillbilly Bone" recorded by Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins), and the evening's host, Bob DiPiero ("Southern Voice" recorded by Tim McGraw, "Blue Clear Sky" recorded by George Strait, and "You Can't Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl" recorded by Brooks & Dunn).
