Eric and his lovely wife Katherine have welcomed their first child, Boone McCoy Church.
Boone was born on Monday, October 3rd at Centennial Women's Hospital in Nashville at 8:35 a.m. CT and weighed 7 lbs. and 11 oz.
“Everybody always tells you what an awesome and unique experience being a parent is. Words can never do the feeling justice. I am very thankful and blessed to have a healthy and happy baby boy and baby mama,” said Eric. “It will be interesting to see how this new chapter in our life manifests itself musically. I've always made music that was representative of real life. Life doesn't get more real than having a newborn at home.”

Congratulations doesn't do justice to commemorate the miracle, Boone, you and your wife were entrusted with! Our first baby girl was born@25 wks and was 1 lb...no medical person. thought she would survive...she turned 12 @ 430pm on MONDAY 10/3/99!!!!
Her father, younger sister and I are bringing her to our concert tonight in Charlotte to celebrate! <3 and snuggles! The Ransbottom Family & Church Choir members/fanatics!
