Eric Church To Play "Love for Levon" Benefit Concert

ERIC CHURCH TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE AND MUSIC OF LEVON HELM AT “LOVE FOR LEVON” BENEFIT CONCERT 

Event to Take Place Oct. 3, 2012 at Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ 
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Platinum-selling country artist Eric Church will join some of music’s most revered musicians to celebrate the life and music of Levon Helm at “Love For Levon,” which will be held at the Izod Center in Rutherford, NJ on October 3, 2012.
 
The event will also feature collaborations and performances by John Mayer, Dierks Bentley, Joe Walsh, Sheryl Crow, Gregg Allman, Mavis Staples, Bruce Hornsby, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin, Warren Haynes, Robert Randolph and many more.
 
Tickets go on sale on August 29th and all net proceeds will help support Helm’s legacy since his passing in April 2012.
 
"I can't possibly overstate what Levon Helm meant to my music or my life. He was a giant. A man among boys. I miss him personally, but that pales in comparison to how much music will miss his presence," says Church.
 
Throughout fall, fans can also find Church out on the road on the second leg of his critically-acclaimed headlining arena tour, The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour, with opening acts Justin Moore and Kip Moore.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Wednesday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. EDT through Ticketmaster.

Citi Card holders will have exclusive presale access beginning at 10 a.m. EDT on August 24 until 10 p.m. EDT on August 28.

All dates, acts and ticket prices subject to change without notice. A service charge is added to each ticket price. If tickets remain, they will be available at the box office beginning Thursday August 30 at 11 a.m.
