After uncovering that a number of concertgoers attending the first half of The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour paid hugely inflated prices to scalpers to get good seats, Eric has decided to go paperless.
"It is important to get tickets into the hands of real fans at face value, and using paperless tickets is the way to do it," says Eric.
This will apply to all seats on the floor and most of the seats in the lower bowl.

I always buy 4 to 6 tickets to every show... i have couples that go with us... and we always split it 4/6ways... including fees... SO how many can one fan member buy??

I also was able to get GA/PIT tickets for the first time ever at the presale this morning! Today is a good day!

I liked paperless tickets until I bought them for a show and then couldn't attend. Most paperless tickets are non-refundable and you can't sell them (even for face value) or give them to a friend so they can go. Maybe this system will be different.
Simply amazing. Buying tickets to go to concerts has certainly become a lost cause in so many instances. I hope that this creates a more level playing field. Thank you for standing up for us fans!

I read this article and the article about the Nashville concert, and then read the policy on Ticketmaster about the paperless ticket. Great move by Chief and his manager. This will surely help with the real fans getting the great tickets. Saw Chief in Youngstown and can't wait to see him again in Pittsburgh! Hoefully from the front row due to this awesome move!!
After last night I have now been to 10 diffrent shows/events...Knoxville I could not afford the seat I wanted bc scalpers had them...Nasville I paid almost $500 to sit in the pit....I actullay got tickets to stage black (thanks sooo much!!!) && last night in chattanooga I could not get a ticket to anywhere but I did sneak into the very front of the stage in the reserved blanket seating where I was one of the ONLY ppl singing and acting a fool these ppl are rediculous soo glad to see Eric take a stand. Hats off cheif!
