Eric's chart-topping album, CHIEF, has earned him his first ever GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album at the 54th annual GRAMMY Awards.
“The GRAMMYs are the ultimate honor for any recording artist. It’s very cool that they recognized CHIEF in what I feel is the most coveted category,” shared Eric. “ I got into the music business because of great records and the feelings they imparted on my heart. I’ve poured everything I am into making those kinds of albums, and I am very thankful for this nod.”
CHIEF was produced by Jay Joyce and recorded in his Nashville, TN studio. In order to write the songs, Eric secluded himself in a cabin in his home state of North Carolina for over a month and spent time with hit writers such as Casey Beathard, Luke Laird and Jeff Hyde. The album has received rave reviews from top tier publications like Rolling Stone, PEOPLE Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and The Boston Globe.
“Every good artist reaches a watershed moment and Eric Church has arrived at his with CHIEF.” - The Boston Globe
This is all the more reason to join Eric in his newly announced The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour, which kicks off in Fort Smith, AR on January 19th.
