Hey I'm a new Eric Church fan, and I know there are a lot of stories kinda like this but i just had to tell it. I became a fan when I heared the song Homeboy. I heard it for the first time an hour after my parents kicked my brother out of the house (and hes only 16 if you get my point). It was so ironic I started laughing and crying at the same time. Homeboy is literally the theme song for half my family, and its one of the songs I can truly relate to, not just sing along with. (And my brother came back in a few days and apologized, but only because he needed a place to live if anyone was wondering.) (And as for the title, I also became a fan because Eric Church is totally awesome!!)

Thanks... and I'm sorry about to hear about the one you lost.:( And thats what I love about Eric Church. There isn't one song of his that someone can't relate to. He's such a great writer and I can't wait til his new album. :)

I can relate to a lot of EC's songs...but 'Springsteen' from the new Chief album reminds me of someone very special I lost when I was 17. So no matter what it's definitely gonna have a special meaning for me :)
